Mr. Mark Anthony Evans, age 51, of Taylorsville, GA, passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2022.

Mark was born in Milledgeville, GA on March 5, 1971, a son of Ernest Freddie Evans and Eleanor Hutcheson Evans. Mark’s childhood years were spent in Macon, GA and had lived in the Taylorsville, GA area since 2016. Mark loved life and enjoyed all things sports, hunting, horses, and coaching youth baseball and basketball. His greatest love was his Lord, and his family, especially his children and his wife, Erica. Mark was a self employed insurance adjuster and also had worked as an ophthalmic tech and retina photographer for many years.

Mark was preceded in death by his mother, Eleanor Hutcheson Ward.

Survivors include his loving wife, Erica Evans; four children: Anna Payne, Seth Martin, Ansley Payne, and Colt Bing; father, Ernest Evans; father and mother in law, Ricky and Brenda Roberson; sister, Tina Lopez (Manny); brother, Bubba Evans; brother and sister in law, Ricky and Melissa Roberson; nephews: Kyle Robinson (Danielle), Tyler Roberson, and Holdyn Roberson; nieces: Haley Hale (Dylan), and Kayla Roberson; great nieces and nephews: Jack Robinson, Carter Hale, Walker Hale, and Waylon Hale.

Celebration of life services will be held Sunday, August 7, 2022 at 3:00 pm in the chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Mr. Bryan Shiflett and Mrs. Becky Shiflett officiating and eulogies given by family and friends.

The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 1:00 pm until the service hour at the funeral home.

Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements for Mr. Mark Anthony Evans.
