Marla Jean Hert

Mrs. Marla Jean Hert, age 55, of Temple, GA passed away Sunday, December 15, 2024.

Marla was born in Titusville, PA on November 26, 1969, a daughter of the late Donald Leroy Crawford and Nancy Lee Runninger Crawford. Marla grew up in Pennsylvania and moved to Georgia in 1995. Some of the qualities that Marla will be remembered by her family will be that she was witty, a good cook, feisty, and very protective of them. She had a love for flowers and candles. Marla was saved and Baptized at Springdale Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Walter Hert, to whom she was married on June 27, 1987; children, Ashley (Pourya) Bakhtiyar, Jesse (Britany) Hert, Marlana (Travis) Forbey, and Cashton Hert; sister-in-law, Tammy Hert; brother-in-law, William Hert; six grandchildren; and best friend, Jody Orr.

In keeping with her wishes, Mrs. Hert will be cremated, and no formal services are planned at this time.
