Martha Faye Spinks

Mrs. Martha Faye Spinks, age 80, of Rockmart, GA, passed away on Monday, January 18, 2021. She was born on August 22, 1940 in Rome, GA, to her late parents; Herman and Rovenia Agan. Mrs. Spinks spent her childhood in Floyd County and the greater part of her adult life in Rockmart. She attended Flint Hill Baptist Church, as well as Euharlee Primitive Baptist Church and worked as a retail clerk for Morgan Hardware. In Martha's free time, she enjoyed gardening, watching wrestling and baseball on TV and working on puzzles. Mrs. Spinks was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Curtis A Spinks, and her brother, Ronald Agan.

Mrs. Spinks is survived by her three children: Preston Spinks of Rockmart, GA, Vivian Spinks of Rockmart, GA and Andy Spinks and his wife, Renee of Decatur, GA, two grandchildren: Emily Spinks and Levi Spinks, two brothers: Earl Agan and Franklin Agan and his wife, Shirley, two sisters: Gwen Boyd and her husband, Joel and Kathy Cantrell and her husband, Rufus, as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

In accordance to the family's wishes, funeral services for Mrs. Spinks will be private.
