Mrs. Mary W. Yarbrough. age 96, of Cedartown, GA passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2016 in a Cedartown nursing center.
She was born on March 4, 1920 a daughter of the late Jim Wills and Mary Lucinda Lee Wills. Mrs. Yarbrough had lived all of her life in Polk County where she was a homemaker and a member of the Antioch Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Washington Yarbrough, Jr. and eight brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her daughter, Evelyn Womack and her husband Terry of Cedartown and a granddaughter, Melindy Gaiser and her husband Brent also of Cedartown; a sister, Betty Perkins, Cedartown; a brother, Charles Wills, Cedartown. A number of nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 31, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Drummond officiating. Interment will follow in Polk Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers for Mrs. Yarbrough will be: Michael Wills, Kenneth Coalson, Dennis Swindle, Brent Gaiser, Bo Cook, and Bubba Cook.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home .
