Melanie Lynne Robinson

Mrs. Melanie Lynne Robinson, age 50, of Aragon, GA passed away Friday, April 17, 2020 at her residence following a ten month illness.

She was born on December 1, 1969, a daughter of Melvin Sullivan and Joyce Sisson Sullivan. Melanie had lived all of her life in Polk County where she was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. She home schooled her children, loved to play the piano and sing, enjoyed reading a good book and crocheting. Melanie also loved her pets.

She was preceded in death by her father, Melvin Sullivan.

Survivors include her husband, Rev. Greg Robinson, to whom she was married September 12, 1992; four children: Jessie Johnston and her husband Tripp, Josh Robinson, Jenna Robinson and Janie Robinson; parents, Joyce and Whit Dunn; and her brother, Donald Sullivan and his wife, Debbie.

In keeping with local, state and federal guidelines, graveside funeral and interment services will be private on Monday, April 20, 2020 at New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Robbie Chastain and Rev. Brent Edwards officiating.

Pallbearers will include: T.L. Smith, Will Smith, Jamie Brumbelow, Carlton Sisson, Donnie Payne, Jason Cline and Brady Davis. Honorary pallbearers will include the Deacons of Bethlehem Baptist Church.

The Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements for the funeral of Mrs. Melanie Lynne Robinson.
