Melissa Naomi Lovingood

Melissa Naomi Lovingood, age 50, of Lafayette, GA, (formally of Marion, N.C.) passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2021. She was born on March 25, 1970 in Rome, GA, to her late parents: Henry and Shirley Allison. Melissa worked as a homemaker and was Baptist by faith. Mrs. Lovingood enjoyed coloring in her free time! Melissa was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jeffery Douglas Lovingood and her son, Joshua Lovingood.

Mrs. Lovingood is survived by her sons: Joseph L. Lovingood of Rockmart, GA, Jeffery Lovingood of Rome, GA and Justin Lovingood of Rome, GA, brother, Howard Allison of Armuchee, GA, and grandson, Clyde Lovingood of Chatsworth, GA.

In accordance to Mrs. Lovingood's wishes, her body will be cremated and no services will be held at this time.
