Merine Wilkes Hulsey

Mrs. Merine Wilkes Hulsey, age 94, of Cumming, GA passed away Sunday, April 29, 2012 in Cumming.

She was born in Henagar, AL on November 30, 1917, daughter of the late Joe Wilkes and Jennie Gray Wilkes. Mrs. Hulsey had been a resident of Cumming for the past six years but had lived the greater part of her life in Cobb County. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cumming. In addition to her parents Mrs. Hulsey was preceded in death by two brothers: Roy Wilkes and Winfred Wilkes and by a sister, Lorena Hartline.

Survivors include her son, Mr. Phillip Hulsey and his wife Cathy, Cumming, and her grandson, Mr. John Hulsey, Cumming.

Graveside funeral and interment services will be held Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in Rose Hill Cemetery with Rev. Jack Kennington officiating.
