Michael Dawson, Jr.

Mr. Michael Dawson, Jr. age 35, of Rockmart, passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2019.

He was born in Rome, GA on November 12, 1984, a son of Michael Dawson, Sr. and Henrietta Baggett Dawson. Michael grew up in Rockmart and attended Rockmart High School. He loved fishing, drawing and working on cars. He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Dawson, Sr; and grandmother, Elsie Baggett.

Survivors include his mother, Henrietta Campbell and her husband, Duane, Buchanan; brothers: Timothy Dawson, Dallas and Cody Dawson, Aragon; grandmother, Janet Spigelmyer, Jacksonville, FL; many aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.

In keeping with his wishes, Mr. Dawson will be cremated and no formal services will be held at this time.
