Michael Dyer

Mr. Michael Edwin (Mike) Dyer, age 69, of Rockmart, GA, passed away on Thursday, April 29, 2021. He was born on January 10, 1952 in Cedartown, GA to his late parents: Albert E. Dyer and Cora Mae Price Dyer. Mike spent the early years of his life in Cedartown, GA, and had attended Cedartown High School. He has lived the last 40 years of his life in Rockmart, GA. Mr. Dyer was a proud United States Army Veteran and had served during the Vietnam era. He was working at Engineered Fabrics for the last several years of his life. In his spare time, he loved to golf, Alabama Football, NASCAR and spending time with his precious grandchildren, Skylar Ann Noland, who called him Grandang and Luke Dyer Noland, who called him Nang Nang! Mr. Dyer was a loving husband, father, grandfather, dog dad, and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Roger Dyer.

Mr. Dyer is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Dyer of Rockmart, GA, daughter, Dana Noland (Dustin) of Rockmart, GA, two grandchildren: Skylar Ann Noland and Luke Dyer Noland, his beloved yorkie, Zeus and a number of cousins.

Memorial Services for Mr. Michael Edwin (Mike) Dyer will be held on Monday, May 3, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jeff Hulsey officiating and military rites given by American Legion Brown-Wright Post 12.
