Mickey Lynn Mcalister Bristow

Mrs. Mickey Lynn McAlister Bristow, age 33, of Cedartown and formerly of Rockmart passed away Friday, May 30, 2014 in Cedartown.

Mickey was born in Rome, GA on February 10, 1981 a daughter of Harvey O. McAlister and Joyce Bryant McAlister. She had lived the greater part of her life in Rockmart, was a former employee of Angelica and attended Crosspointe Community Church in Aragon. She was preceded in death by her father Harvey McAlister and grandparents: Fannie and Cecil Henderson, Hattie and Lee McAlister and Monroe Christopher.

She is survived by four children: Zachary Lee Ferguson, William Samuel Ferguson, Isiac French Bristow and Hannah Elizabeth Bristow; mother, Joyce Godfrey and husband Jeff, Englewood, Colorado; sisters, Sarah Anderson, Rockmart; Linda Hilburn, Rockmart, Tammy Hughes, Rockmart, Deborah Cook, Rockmart and Star McAlister, Cedartown; brothers, Tommy McAlister, Rockmart and Tony McAlister, Rockmart; honorary family members: Linda Ferguson, Jessica and Jason Moss.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will include: Shannon Brantley, Bill Anderson, Billy Little, Jason Stringer, Brandon Hammonds and Shannon Privett. Honorary pallbearers will include: Randall Henderson, C.J. Anderson, Zachary Lee Ferguson, William Samuel Ferguson , Isiac French Bristow and Dusty Ferguson.

The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
