Mrs. Mildred S. "Millie" Stewart, age 97, of Rome, GA passed away Thursday, January 30, 2020.
She was born on February 9, 1922, a daughter of the late John Jasper Sentell and the late Bertie Morrison Sentell. Millie and her husband, Buck, traveled extensively during their marriage and managed to visit many tourist sites in and out of the country. Millie loved to travel and she really enjoyed planning her trips. Thinking of what she would see along the way, how the accommodations would be when she arrived and the people she would encounter. She has now finished her last journey to a place she has been planning on seeing her whole life. A destination more spectacular than any she visited on this earth.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, H.E. "Buck" Stewart; daughter, Glenda Patricia Stewart; and two brothers: Clarence Sentell and J.L. Sentell.
Survivors include her three sons: Wayne Stewart and his wife Elaine, John L. Stewart and his wife Ann and Timothy Stewart and his wife, Diane; four grandchildren: Judy, Stephen, Ryan and Katelyn; three great grandchildren: Sophie, Sawyer and Easton; sister, Lillie Mae Murphy; a number of nieces and nephews also survive.
