Miranda Thomas

Mrs. Miranda Renee Thomas, age 31, of Rockmart, GA passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2016 from injuries received in an auto accident.

She was born in Atlanta, GA on March 9, 1985, a daughter of Donald Powell and Dina Holbrook Clines. Mrs. Thomas was preceded in death by her father Donald Powell and grandfather, Terry Holbrook.

Survivors include her loving husband, Samuel Ricardo Thomas of Rockmart, GA to whom she was married on July 16, 2007; three children: Destinay Thomas, Austin Thomas and Sophia Thomas, all of Rockmart; mother, Dina Glines; step-father, Jesse Glines; sister, Tammy Tony; brother: David Powell; grandmother, Beverly Jolly; a number of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 25, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with members of Miranda's family delivering eulogies. Interment will follow in the Anderson Reeves Cemetery.

Pallbearers will include: Danny Mathis, Jonathan Mathis, Bryan Armstrong, Wayne Armstrong, James Bones, Dontarius Dartan, Brandon Smith, David Ford and Timothy Sauceda.

The family will receive friends Friday from 3:00 p.m. until the funeral hour at the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home.
