Nettie Fennell

Nettie Louise Hulsey Fennell passed into Glory on October 12, 2011 at her residence in Rockmart, Georgia. She was the daughter of Thomas Clifford Hulsey and Margaret Hawk Hulsey. She was preceded in death by her husband of forty-four years, Lloyd Vernon Fennell and seven siblings: Woodrow Hulsey, Ruby Bearden, J. D. Hulsey, Alton Hulsey, H. J. Hulsey, Clifford Hulsey and Shirley Bantz.


Mrs. Fennell is survived by a daughter, Pamela Fennell Moore of Fayetteville, GA and a son, Bruce Vernon Fennell, Sr. of Rockmart, GA, five grandchildren, Amanda Beverly of Concord, GA, Lauren Ellington of Thomaston, GA, David Sollenberger, Jr. of Stockbridge, GA, Bruce Fennell, Jr. (BJ) of Rockmart, GA and Nikki Brock of Cedartown, GA, three great-grandchildren, Avery Beverly, Chloe Sollenberger and David Sollenberger, III (Trey) and one sister Virginia Maureen Smallwood of Gainesville, GA.


Mrs. Fennell was a life-time member of Springdale Baptist Church in Rockmart, GA where she taught children?s Sunday School and choir and sang in the adult choir. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at twelve o?clock at Springdale Baptist Church with Rev. Bobby McDowell and Rev. Andy Fennell officiating. Interment will be in Springdale Cemetery.
Pallbearers will include: David Sollenberger, Jason Beverly, Dusty Ellington, Mark Forsyth, Scott Moody and Mike McRae. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 14, 2011 from six to eight o?clock p.m. at Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home, 304 W. Elm Street, Rockmart, GA.
