Ms. Pamela Campbell Whiteside, age 63, of Rockmart, GA passed away Monday, May 23, 2016 at her residence.
A native of Greenville, South Carolina she was born on February 24, 1953 a daughter of Earnest and Virginia Campbell. Ms. Whiteside was a resident of Polk county for the past twenty eight years moving here from Austell. She attended Cross View Community Church. Ms. Whiteside was instrumental in establishing the CASA program in Polk County. She was currently serving as a Polk County Magistrate Court Judge where she held that position for the past ten years.
Survivors include two brothers: Butch Campbell and Jimmy Campbell; five grandchildren: Jennifer Murray(Scott), Jaime Whiteside, Tracy Hindmon, Stacy Hindmon and Todd Hindmon; several great grandchildren including: Talia Murray and Scott Murray; nephews: Jamie Campbell, Chuck Campbell and Jason Whitley; nieces: Kate Campbell and Lise Johnson; great nephew Aden Heimann; great niece, Ava Whitley; and the love of her life Cecil Whiteside.
Memorial services will be held Thursday, June 2, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home.
Visitation will follow the memorial service until 8:00 p.m. at the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home.
