Pat Gleichauf

Mrs. Pat Gleichauf, age 71, of Rockmart, GA passed away Friday, May 30, 2014 in a Rome medical center.

She was born on March 30, 1943 in Newnan, GA a daughter of the late John Swofford and Clara Holloway Swofford. Mrs. Gleichauf lived the early years of her life in Newnan, GA before moving to Rockmart where she has lived for the past forty two years. She was a member of the Second Baptist Church of Rockmart and had worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for thirty three years. She loved taking care of her patients who she referred to as her babies. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Lynn Dillard on June 7, 2010.

Survivors include her husband, Bud Gleichauf, Rockmart; daughter, Lisa Tenney and husband Ricky, Rockmart; sister, Hazel Roberts and husband David, Newnan; eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 2, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in the Second Baptist Church of Rockmart with Rev. David Warriner officiating. Interment will follow in Rockmart Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will include: John Gleichauf, Chad Gleichauf, Cody Tenney, Dave Roberts, John Roberts and Tyler Conley.

The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home.
