Patricia Ann (Patti) Causey

Mrs. Patricia Ann (Patti) Causey, age 50, of Aragon, GA passed away Friday, April 3, 2015 in a Rome medical center following a brief illness.

She was born in Rome, GA on November 22, 1964 a daughter of Lamar Neal Rushing and Donna Gail Reeves Rushing. Patti grew up in Cedartown, GA and attended Cedartown High School. She had lived most of her life in Aragon where she was a member of the Oak Ridge Baptist Church. Patti was preceded in death by her father, Lamar Neal Rushing and a sister Pam Rushing.

Survivors include her husband, Travis E. Causey of Aragon to whom she was married on January 29, 1982; four sons: Kenny Causey (Amy), Rockmart, Kyle Causey, Aragon, Kody Causey (Alicia), Silver Creek and Konnor Causey (Ansley), Aragon; mother, Donna Rushing, Cedartown; sister, Tammy Rushing, Cedartown; two sisters in law: Carol Prater, Aragon and Patricia Womack, Aragon; six grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews

Funeral services will be held Monday, April 6, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. in the Oak Ridge Baptist Church with Rev. Archie Streetman and Rev. Tim Deems officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Colt Deems officiating.

Pallbearers will include: Frank Prater, Ricky Womack, Chris Edwards, Ken Streetman, Michael Harpe and Buddy Peek.

The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6 until 9 p.m. at the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home.

The Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for the funeral of Mrs. Patricia Ann (Patti) Causey.
