Patricia Lewis

Mrs. Patricia Lewis, age 82, of Rockmart, GA, passed away on Tuesday, May 31, 2022.

Mrs. Lewis was born on March 24, 1940 in Rockmart, GA, to her late parents: Q H (Rich) Richardson and Hazel Underwood Richardson. She had attended Rockmart High School and spent the greater part of her life in Rockmart. Patricia was a loving and caring homemaker and spent her days taking care of her family and being by her husband, Rev. Hoyt’s side as a minister’s wife. A role she cherished dearly. Mrs. Lewis was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Rev. Hoyt Lewis; son, Steve Lewis; great grandson, Southern Hoyt Lewis and sisters-in-law: Bettie Fay Lewis and Janice Richardson.

Mrs. Lewis is survived by her loving children: Greg Lewis of Rockmart, GA, Ken Lewis of Rockmart, GA and Lynne Hill (Charlie) of Rockmart, GA; 6 grandchildren: Paul Lewis, Erik Lewis, Chase Hill, Destiny Hill, Linden Lewis and Connor Lewis; 8 great grandchildren; brother, Jerry Richardson and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Lewis will be held on Friday, June 3, 2022 at 2:00 PM in the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Anthony Osborn officiating. Interment will follow at Rockmart Memorial Gardens.

Serving as pallbearers will be the following gentlemen: Bryan Richardson, Paul Lewis, Erik Lewis, Kevin Richardson and Chase Hill.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, June 3, 2022 from 1:00 PM until the service hour at 2:00 PM.
