Patricia "Patty" Ballard

Mrs. Patricia "Patty" Ballard, age 60, of Aragon, GA passed away suddenly Friday, May 17, 2019.

She was born on February 25, 1959, a daughter of Tony Garrett and Mrytle Lee Garrett. Mrs. Ballard lived the greater part of her life in Aragon, where she enjoyed the hobbies of cross-stitching and sewing. She was of the Baptist faith and retired from Meggitt with 28 years of service.

In addition to her father, Mrs. Ballard was preceded in death by two brothers: Lee Garrett and Leonard Garrett.

She is survived by her husband, Lee Ballard; two sons: Chris Wright and wife Alicia, David Wright and wife Nikole; two step-daughters: Beth Smith and Shannon Walker and husband Ben; eleven grandchildren; her mother, Myrtle Garrett; one sister, Sherry Dunwoody and husband Sam; three brothers, Larry Garrett, David Garrett and wife Vickey, and Denny Wayne Garrett; a number of nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. Ballard will be held Thursday, May 23, at 11:00 AM in the chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Aragon Cemetery.

Pallbearers will include: Chris Wright, David Wright, Brian Arno, Ben Dunwoody, Ben Walker, and Cory Wolfe.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, May 22, from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
