Rachel Nicole Moss

Rachel Nicole Moss, age 42, of Rockmart, GA, passed away on February 3, 2024, in Rome, Georgia. She was born on August 29, 1981, in Rome, a daughter of Betty Arp Moss and Alton Keith Moss. Rachel was known for her kindness, compassion, and love for her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Rachel graduated from high school in 1999 and was a homemaker. She found joy in creating a warm and welcoming environment for her loved ones. A woman of faith, Rachel was a member of Morning View Baptist Church. 

In her free time, Rachel pursued various hobbies that brought her immense joy. She had a deep love for shopping, particularly for pocketbooks. The thrill of finding the perfect accessory always put a smile on her face. Rachel also had a talent for painting crafts, where she could showcase her creativity and bring beauty into the world. Additionally, she enjoyed fishing and cherished the peaceful moments spent by the water's edge. What truly brought Rachel the most happiness though was spending quality time with her cherished family and friends.

Rachel leaves behind a loving partner in life, Dustin Nelson. Her mother Betty Arp Moss and father Alton Keith Moss were not only her parents but also provided unwavering support throughout her life journey. She is survived by her sister Christa Moss as well. Rachel's close-knit family extends to include her aunt and uncle, Debra & Butch Hayes, Lastly, Brayli Wilkes holds a special place in Rachel's heart as well - cherished niece to whom she provided love and guidance.

To honor Rachel's memory and celebrate her life, visitation services will take place on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home.  A funeral service will follow the visitation at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Junior Thomason and Rev. Jeff Hulsey officiating. Interment will follow in New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will include Ritchie Graham, Austin Bedford, Tim Jones, Braxton Ely, Cason Ely and Denny Causey.

Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home & Crematory has charge of the arrangements for Rachel Nicole Moss.
