Randy Fennell

Mr. Randy Fennell, age 60, of Taylorsville, GA passed away Monday, April 17, 2017 at his residence following an extended illness.

He was born in Rockmart, GA on May 22, 1956, a son of the late Milton Fennell and Kathryn Dunn Fennell. Mr. Fennell had lived all of his life in the Polk County area and was a self employed contractor owning Randy Fennell Construction for many years. He enjoyed taking long rides, spending time with his grandchildren and just sitting outside looking at the countryside.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Melody Fennell.

Survivors include his two daughters: Mandy Fennell, Silver Creek and Heather Gilmer, Rockmart; three grandchildren: Ashley Clark, Trent Clark and Greyson Gunnells; sister, Melissa Cagle, Taylorsville; two brothers: Reggie Fennell and Mark Fennell both of Rockmart; and the mother of his children, Lane Fennell, Silver Creek.

Memorial services will be held Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at 7:00 pm in the chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Brother Chris Cabe officiating.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5:00 pm until the memorial service hour at the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial gifts be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children, P.O. Box 1525 Ranson, WV 25438-0018.
