Ricky Tillery

Mr. Ricky Tillery, age 53, of Aragon, GA passed away Saturday, December 10, 2011 at his residence following a lengthy illness.


He was born in Rockmart, GA on July 3, 1958 the son of James Irvin Tillery and Evelyn Thompson Tillery. Ricky attended the Aragon United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother Randy Tillery.

Survivors include his mother, Evelyn Tillery, Aragon; four sisters: Gloria Seabolt and husband Roger, Cedartown, Beverly Hughes and husband Jimmy, Rockmart, Linda Fuqua and husband James, Rockmart and Kathy Blalock, Rockmart; one brother, Larry Tillery and wife Laurise, Huntsville, AL; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.


Funeral services will be held Monday, December 12, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the Aragon United Methodist Church with Rev. Andrew Woodworth officiating and eulogies given by members of the family. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery.


Pallbearers will include: Jimmy Hughes, Steven Blalock, Adam Gentry, Matthew Hughes, and Scott Seabolt.


The family will receive friends Monday afternoon from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour at the Aragon United Methodist Church.
