Robert "Bob" Mcmillian

Robert "Bob" Stephen McMillian - 77 passed away Thursday, October 21, 2021 at Chulio Hills Health Center in Rome, Georgia. He was born on July 6, 1944 in Rockmart, Georgia to the late Walter R. McMillian & Libbie (Wood) McMillian. Bob attended Georgia Tech where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management in 1967, later went on to Georgia State and obtained a Masters of Professional Accountancy 1970. Bob retired after a 40-year career in the CPA industry, during his career he served as board member and President of the Association of Healthcare Internal Auditors (AHIA). Along with his parents he was preceded in death by brothers, Larry McMillian, James McMillian, and sister, Deborah Cox.

Survivors include: daughter and son-in-law, Lisa McMillian & Dan Shideler of Port Angeles, WA; daughter and son-in-law, Cindy & Peter Travia of Alexandria, VA; son and daughter-in-law Brett & Danielle Hall of Dublin, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Cameron & Kelly McMillian of Hoover, AL; grandchildren: Alex, Nicholas, Presley, Gini Lynn, Etta, Annistyn; sister: Billie Jean Walters; and a number nieces and nephews.

A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
