Robert F. "Bob" Macary, Sr.

Mr. Robert F. "Bob" Macary, Sr. age 74, of Rockmart passed away Sunday, June 11, 2023.

Bob was born on July 14, 1948, in Waterbury, CT, son of the late George Macary and Lillian Marinaccio Macary. He had been a resident of Rockmart since 1992, moving here from Connecticut. Bob was of the Catholic faith. He had previously owned and operated Bob’s Used Furniture and was currently operating Kids and More Thrift Store.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two sisters.

Survivors include a loving son, Robert F. (Bobby) Macary, Jr. and a daughter, Katie Shea; sister, Nancy Anderson and brother, George Macary; two grandchildren: Lily and Joseph Boisvert; four step-daughters: Yvonne Lindsay, Tera Kirkland, Patricia Jarvis and Carey McPherson; one step-son, David Genobels; 17 step-grandchildren (including Samantha Williams and Joseph Williams) 20 step -greatgrandchildren and one step great-great grandchild; companion, Beverly Cochran and her son, Bryan Cochran and Beverly’s grandchildren: Keyla Taylor, Krista Gay, Kyler Gay, Alexus Cochran, Mercedes Cochran and Harley Cochran; Beverly's great-grandchildren, Karsyn, Kassandra, Easton, Wrenleigh, Emma Rose, and Londyn.

Memorial services for Bob will be Friday, June 16, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Kirk Burrell officiating.
