Ronald E. "Ronnie" Robinson

Mr. Ronald E. “Ronnie” Robinson, age 77, of Aragon, GA, passed away Monday, June 26, 2023.

Mr. Robinson was born in Aragon on June 19, 1946, a son of the late Clarence Odell “Mutt” Robinson and the late Lula Mae Cash Robinson. Ronnie had lived all of his life in Aragon and was of the Baptist faith. He worked and retired after 34 years from the Clorox Company in Cartersville, GA. Ronnie had a great passion for coon hunting, raising animals and trading at Collinsville Trade Day Flea Market, but most of all for his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Ronnie was preceded in death by his brothers, Donald “Bo” Robinson, Rev. Carl Robinson, Rev. Earl “Dean” Robinson, and Ralph Robinson, and a sister, Marie Forsyth.

Mr. Robinson is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Sylvia Roberson Robinson; two sons, Rodney (Ami) Robinson of Cedartown, GA, and Terry Robinson of Aragon; brother, Dale Robinson of Taylorsville, GA; seven grandchildren, Alison and Jeremy Christopher of Powder Springs, GA, Dustin Robinson of Rockmart, GA, Ansley, Austyn, Emma and Andrew Robinson, all of Aragon, and Jake Robinson of Cedartown; great-grandchildren, Ava and Elliott Christopher of Powder Springs, and Cooper Robinson of Rockmart. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Ronnie will be Thursday afternoon, June 29, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Greg Robinson and Rev. Brent Edwards officiating. Interment will follow in Taylorsville Cemetery.

Ronnie’s family will receive friends at Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Pallbearers will include Dustin Robinson, Austyn Robinson, Jake Robinson, Andrew Robinson, Jeremy Christopher, Jeff Fricks, Lee Forsyth, and Preston Southers.
