Ronald E. "Ronnie" Hutcheson

Ronald Edgar Hutcheson, affectionately known as "Ronnie," was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, community servant, and friend to many. He peacefully passed away at his home in Aragon, GA on July 19, 2024. 

He was born on June 24, 1942, to the late Mary and Robert Hutcheson, Ronnie's life exemplified dedication, service, and a sense of humor that touched the lives of those around him. Growing up in Rockmart alongside his late sister, Judy Hutcheson, Ronnie attended Rockmart High School. Known for his warm personality and sharp wit, Ronnie formed lasting connections within the community. Professionally, he fostered relationships through his automotive dealership business and supported his wife, Karolyn, in her community endeavors with the Chamber of Commerce. Following retirement, Ronnie cherished moments with his family and used his creativity with technology to bring joy and encouragement to loved ones. His profound dedication to Rockmart shone through his passion for its history, often sharing rare historical photos and anecdotes with others. Ronnie married his beloved Karolyn, and together they cultivated a life of love and laughter. 

Their union blessed them with four children: David Hutcheson, Roger Hutcheson, Rhonda de Graauw, and Nisey Stepp, who, in turn, brought immense joy to Ronnie through seven grandchildren: Ashli, Kyle David, T.C., Erin, Ryan, Parker, Vance, and two great-grandchildren, Hudson and Knox. Renowned for his quick wit and captivating storytelling, Ronnie was the heart of every gathering, showcasing his kind spirit and profound love for his family. While he will be deeply missed, Ronnie leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter that will forever inspire his children, cherished grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, guiding them to embody his kindness and sense of humor. 

A celebration of Ronnie Hutcheson's life will be held at a later date, providing an opportunity for family and friends to commemorate his well-lived life and the enduring impact he made on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
