Ronald L. Sosnowski

Mr. Ronald L. Sosnowski, age 73, of Dallas, GA passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2015 in a Rome medical center.

He was born in Detroit, Michigan on March 20, 1942, a son of the late Leon Sosnowski. Born and raised in Michigan, Mr. Sosnowski moved to Akron Ohio where he lived for 20 years working for Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company before moving to Georgia in the mid 1990's. He was a graduate of Michigan Tech, loved boating, football, traveling and loved to work. Mr. Sosnowski was active in Boy Scouts when his son, Tom was growing up. He spent his working career with the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, Engineered Fabrics and he retired after many years of service with Meggitt. He was of the Catholic faith.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter, Mary Jo Sosnowski.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy Barber, Dallas; and his son, Tom Sosnowski and his wife Rachael, Mogadore, OH.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 26, 2015 at 3:00 PM in the chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Stevie Waddell officiating.

The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon from 1:00 PM until the funeral hour at the funeral home.
