Ronald Robinson, Sr.

Mr. Ronald Robinson, Sr., age 65, of Lindale, GA passed away suddenly Thursday, September 12, 2013 in a Rome medical center.

He was born in Shannon, GA on January 8, 1948 a son of the late Benjamin Clyde Robinson and Frankie Pearline Thomas Robinson. Mr. Robinson was a graduate of Model High School where he also played basketball. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army having served three years in Korea. Mr. Robinson retired from the Bekaert Corporation of Rome where he had been employed for thirty years. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Angelia Christofferson on November 9, 2012.

Survivors include his wife, Kim Robinson, Lindale; son Ronald (Ron) Robinson, Jr. and wife Debra of Acworth; two grandsons: Andrew Christofferson and Jadyn Robinson; brother, James Sharon Robinson, Covington; two nieces and one nephew.

Memorial services will be held Sunday, September 15, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Delton Harne officiating.
