Ronald Shane Garner completed his final mission on earth May 10th 2023 when he gained his wings and joined our Lord in heaven. Shane worked at Phoenix Air for 22 years, first in aircraft maintenance then Target operations. This sparked his love for aviation and travel. In the years prior to Phoenix Air he had been a Firefighter and Smoke diver, Lineman at Cobb EMC, a member of Army National Guard completing Airborne and Ranger courses, a member of the Phoenix Air Arca race team. In 1998 he met the love of his life, Susan. They shared a true love like no other which was an inspiration and example to all who knew them. Shane and Susan shared a life full of love, fun, and adventure never taking their time together for granted. Shane had a zest for life and adventure that made everyone he met want to be around him, but it was his infectious smile and laugh that was irresistible. He was strong and protecting, but had a giving heart. He was always there if someone needed his help, and never expecting anything in return. He could fix, create, build anything. Shane loved his children, Jessica, Cody and George dearly. He loved spending time with them and grandchildren Grady, Harper as well as other family, friends and of course his favorite dog Blue. Shane lived his life to its fullest and lived every day as a new adventure and searched for something new to conquer. He had many hobbies, to name a few: avid Georgia Bulldogs football fan, guns, mountain biking, motorcycle riding, Jeep trail riding and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (Purple Belt). Having Shane in this world has made it a better place to be and all who were lucky enough to be in his life will forever be changed by his tragic loss. Shane will forever be in our hearts and forever be missed!
