Roy Christopher Cargile

Roy Christopher Cargile, age 56, of Rockmart, GA, passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2021.

Roy was born on August 2, 1965 in Canton, GA, to his parents: Thomas Jackson Cargile and Rachael Parker Cargile. He worked as a roofer and was of Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters: Rachel Cargile Bryson and Barbara Lee Cargile, brothers: Jackie Cargile and Jimmy Cargile.

Roy is survived by his wife, Sandy Cargile of Acworth, GA, significant other, Melissa Haynes of Rockmart, GA, sons: Christopher Lee Cargile (Lisa) of Rockmart, GA, Justin Dwayne Cargile (Drow) of Acworth, GA, Cody Jackson Cargile (Jessie) of Acworth, GA, daughters: Jessica Gail Rice (Todd Knowles) of Brunswick, GA and Kayla Renee Smith of Rockmart, GA; one sister, Shirley Mae Dupree of Cedartown; one brother, Tommy Cargile of Acworth; and a number of nieces, nephews and grandchildren.

Memorial Services for Mr. Cargile will be held on Sunday, October 10, 2021 at New Life Community Church of Acworth at 2:00 PM with Pastor Jody Harrison officiating.
