Roy Russell Coffman

Mr. Roy Russell Coffman, age 65, of Rockmart, GA passed away Monday, September 21, 2020 in a Rome medical center.

He was born in Rockmart on August 6, 1955, a son of the late Roy William Coffman and the late Vera Moore Coffman. Roy had lived the greater part of his life in Rockmart. He enjoyed playing his guitar, fishing and hunting. He was a former employee of Shaw Industries.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Russell Coffman; a sister, Marilyn Wolfe; two brothers: Mark and William Coffman and a nephew Dylan Coffman.

Survivors include a daughter, Amber Ledford (Billy), Adairsville; step-son, Jason Mathis (Dondra), Cartersville and several grandchildren; two sisters: Carolyn Davis, Aragon and Josette Coffman, Rockmart; brother, Kenneth Coffman, Cartersville. A number of nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside funeral and interment services will be held Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at 12:00 noon in the Springdale Baptist Church Cemetery with the family delivering eulogies.

Pallbearers will include: David Davis, Aaron Davis, Benny Powell, Billy Ledford, Josette Coffman and Kenneth Coffman.
