Rubye W. Wilson

Mrs. Rubye W. Wilson, age 78, of Dallas, GA passed away Sunday, July 3, 2016 following an extended illness.

She was born in Treet, GA on March 7, 1938, a daughter of the late William Thomas Wallace and Lula Irene Folsom Wallace. Mrs. Wilson had been a resident of Paulding County since 1958 and was a member of the Piedmont Avenue Baptist Church in Rockmart. She had a love for gardening and working in her flower beds. Mrs. Wilson worked for many years at the Paulding County Hospital as a bookkeeper. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, M.G. Wilson and her brother, Seals Wallace.

Survivors include her many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Tibbetts officiating. Interment will follow in the Narroway Baptist Church Cemetery, Dallas, GA.

Pallbearers will include: Randy Wilson, Nathan Wilson, Nicholas Wilson, David Wallace, Lance Wilson and Arlen Folsom.

The family will receive friends Tuesday afternoon from 12 noon until the funeral hour at the funeral home.
