Russell D.C. Owens

Mr. Russell D.C. Owens, age 54, of Cedartown, GA passed away Saturday, September 25, 2021 in a Rome medical center.

He was born in Ft. Payne, AL on March 19, 1967 a son of Thomas Douglas Owens and Myra Maxine Hardinger Owens. Russell had lived the greater part of his life in Cedartown and graduated from Cedartown High School. He enjoyed NASCAR racing and camping. Russell was a member of the Bellview Baptist Church and was employed by BLD Services of Dallas, GA as a truck driver.

Survivors include a daughter, MiKayla (Trevor) Owens Brewster; two sons: Zachary Russell Owens and Bradley D.C. Owens; parents, Doug and Maxine Owens; brother, Kirk (Barbara) Owens; fiance’ Jaimee Little and her children: Harley Little and Ryan Little.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at 2:00 pm in the Bellview Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Purser and Rev. Kenny Jennings officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers will include: K. J. Owens, Daryl Little, Jacob Short, Charles Rayburn, Charles Dabbs and Chad Dabbs.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour at the Bellview Baptist Church.

The Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements for the funeral of Mr. Russell D.C. Owens.
