Ruth Williams Bolton

Mrs. Ruth Williams Bolton, 83, wife of the late Thomas Bolton, entered into rest Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Westwood Nursing Home.


Memorial services will be held Saturday, February 2, 2013, at 3:00 PM at Aragon United Methodist Church in Rockmart, GA with Rev. Andy Woodworth and Rev. Benjamin Wiles officiating. Mrs. Bolton was the daughter of late Samuel M. Williams and Lillie Kenney Williams. A native of Rockmart, Mrs. Bolton worked in the Polk County Tax Commissioner?s office for over 20 years. She was a member of Aragon United Methodist Church, enjoyed reading and sewing, and was a loving mother and grandmother.


Survivors include her granddaughter, Rachel Wiles and husband Benjamin of Grovetown and a sister, Lillian Matthews of East Point. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Nancy Bolton Edwards, brother, George Williams, sisters, Rachel Williams, Mary Mull, Betty Williams, Mildred Schneider, and Margaret Williams. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mrs. Bolton?s honor to Aragon United Methodist Church 135 New Prospect Rd. Aragon, GA 30104.
