Salley Elane Stone

Mrs. Salley Elane Stone, age 92, of Rockmart passed away Monday, August 1, 2016 in a Cedartown nursing center.

She was born in Graceville, Florida on October 24, 1923 and had been a resident of Rockmart since 1963. Mrs. Stone was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She loved to sew and worked as a sitter for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Paul Stone on September 15, 1990.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Colt Deems officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. Wednesday morning until the funeral hour at the funeral home.
