Savanah Lynn Porter

Savannah Lynn Porter, age 13, of Buchanan, GA passed away Saturday, December 9, 2023.

Savannah was born in Carrollton, GA on July 12, 2010, a daughter of John Richard Porter and Christy Lynn Moulder Porter. Savannah had lived all of her life in Buchanan where she enjoyed spending time with her friends. She had a love for music, especially Elvis. She enjoyed watching movies and was a huge Harry Potter fan. Savannah had a love for animals and would spend time feeding them at the farm with her Pawpaw. In the afternoons she loved spending time in her backyard swinging in her swing.

Savannah was preceded in death by her grandparents, R.J. and Judy Porter.

Survivors include her mother, Christy Porter; father, Richard Porter; step-father, Marcus MCarty; brother, Bryan Anthony Porter; sister, Ashley Porter; brother, Josh Moulder (Faith); step-sister, Madison McCarty; grandfather, Barry Moulder; grandmother, Cathy Moulder; uncle, Michael Moulder; aunt, Allison Donahoo; cousins: Hannah Reid and Austin Moulder, Kennedy and William; and niece, Sage Moulder.

Memorial services to celebrate Savannah’s life will be held Tuesday afternoon, December 19, 2023 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Steve McGill and Rev. Gene Fields officiating and Josh Moulder delivering the eulogy.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 12 noon until the service hour at the funeral home.
