Shannon G. Smith

Mr. Shannon G. Smith, age 45, of Dalton, GA, passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2022.

Mr. Smith was born on August 2, 1976 in Rome, GA, to his parents: James Terry Smith and Elizabeth Ann Shepherd Smith. Shannon lived the later part of his life in Heflin, AL. and Rockmart, GA. He attended Rockmart High School and graduated from Cleburne County High School in Heflin, AL. Shannon had worked for CSX Railroad for 13 years and was currently working for Northgate RV in the sales and finance department. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing and boating and was a huge sports fan. Auburn Tigers being his favorite. Most importantly, Shannon loved his children and family dearly and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa Pruitt, loving children: Cade Smith and Caylee Smith; brothers: Chuck Millican and Sam Capps; step-mother, Donna Bowling and step-sister, Ann Morris. A number of nieces and nephews also survive.

Memorial Services for Mr. Smith will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at 3:00 PM in The Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home Chapel.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 30, 2022 from 2:00 PM until the service starts at 3:00 PM.
