Shirley Ann Jackson

Mrs. Shirley Ann Jackson, age 69, of 35 Carr Road, Rockmart passed away Thursday, March 10, 2011 at her residence.


She was born October 3, 1941 a daughter of the late Carl O. White and Estel Hitt White. Mrs. Jackson had lived in Rockmart the greater part of her life and was employed by Murata for twenty five years followed by seven years of employment with Angelica. She was preceded in death by a son, Eddie Olin Jackson.


Survivors include a son, William Jeffrey Jackson, Rockmart; two sisters: Joyce Martin, Rockmart and Louise Robinson, Rockmart; four grandchildren also survive.


Memorial services will be held Sunday, March 13, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Carroll officiating.


The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 3:00 p.m. until the memorial hour at the funeral home.
