Susan Kimberley Norman

Mrs. Susan Kimberley Norman, age 63, of Rockmart, GA, passed away Sunday, June 2, 2024, at her residence.

Kim was born on July 6, 1960, to Donald Bedford Bailey and Evelyn Haney Bailey in Rockmart, GA.  She spent most of her childhood in Stone Mountain, GA, where she graduated from Stone Mountain High School in 1978.  Kim worked in many roles over the years, including in her family’s transportation business.  She was a loving wife, mother, and friend.  Kim was known for her love for cooking, gardening, her dogs and her family.   On top of being a very talented home cook, and an award winning vegetable gardener, she enjoyed drawing, and won several beauty pageants during her teenaged years.  Kim will be remembered by her family for her dedication to family, love for fun, and desire to always make the holidays special 9especially Thanksgiving and Christmas).  Kim was of the Baptist faith and was baptized with her family at Morning View Baptist Church in Rockmart.

 Kim is preceded in death by both her parents Don and Evelyn Bailey; her brother Donald "Bud" Bailey; her granddaughter Lillian Wolfenbarger; both sets of grandparents and several aunts and uncles. 

 She is survived by her husband of 29 years, John Norman; three daughters, Pam Dixon, Lisa Norman, and Savannah (Wes) Dover; and sons William "Tre" (Jamie) Reed, and Sean (Cortney) Clark. She is also survived by grandsons, Zach, Timothy, Josiah, James, John Luke, Josh, Joey, Denny, Wesley, Miles and Daniel; and granddaughters Brooklyn, Alyssa and Nora.

 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 1 Peter 1:3

 In keeping with her wishes, Kimberly will be cremated.
