Susan Gail Tilley

Mrs. Susan Gail Tilley, age 76, of Aragon, GA passed away Sunday, March 10, 2024.

Susan was born on November 11, 1947, a daughter of the late Clayton Phagan and Dorothy Dobb Phagan. Susan was a dedicated educator who focused on furthering the education of the children of her community. She was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Philip Tilley; son Derrick Tilley and his wife, Cassie; grandchildren, Tana (Patrick) Hulsey; Lauren Tilley, and Maddie Tilley; great-grandchildren, Dawson and Evie Huley; and life long friend, Linda Stegall.

In keeping with her wishes, Mrs. Tilley will be cremated, and the family will receive friends Tuesday, March 12, 2024 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial donations be made to Foundation Christian School, PO Box 731, Rockmart, GA 30153 in memory of Mrs. Tilley.
