Teresa Lynn "Terrie" Yarbrough

Ms. Teresa Lynn “Terrie” Yarbrough, age 67, of Rockmart, GA, passed away Sunday morning, December 22, 2024.

Terrie was born in Rockmart on July 11, 1957, daughter of Sue Morgan Yarbrough and the late Preston Yarbrough. She had lived all her life in Rockmart and was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church where she taught intermediate girls Sunday School Class. Terrie was a 1975 graduate of Rockmart High School and worked in customer service with AT&T for over 26 years. She loved traveling, all things Disney and working with crafts.

In addition to her father, Terrie was preceded in death by a brother, Tim Yarbrough.

Terrie is survived by her mother, Sue Yarbrough; brother, Teddy (Nanna) Yarbrough; sister-in-law, Tracy Yarbrough; special niece (affectionately known as aunt sister), Halli Yarbrough. Several other nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Terrie will be held on Tuesday afternoon, December 24, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. in Bethlehem Baptist Church with Rev. Josh Johnson and Rev. Greg Robinson officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Rev. Brent Edwards in charge of graveside rites.

Terrie’s family will receive friends Tuesday at Bethlehem Baptist Church from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour.

Pallbearers will include Teddy Yarbrough, James Atkins, Steve Hendrix, Floyd Barber, Joey Shedd, and Craig Summers. Honorary pallbearers will include Ryan Nichelson, Jeremy Walls, Randy Baines, and members of her Sunday School Class, Leah Summers, Rebekah Summers, Sarah Summers, and Logan Shedd.
