Terry Len Adams

Mr. Terry Len Adams, age 70, passed away Friday evening, January 26, 2024, in a local hospital.

Terry was born in Gadsden, AL, on July 26, 1953, a son of the late James Howard Adams and Dorothy Jean Dunn Adams.  He moved to Rome at an early age and always loved Rock Music.   Terry started a rock band at the age of 18 years old and was a member of several bands over the years.  One of the bands he was a member of was even the opening act several times for The Doobie Brothers.  Terry retired from Inland Rome in 2018 after 30 years of service.  He always enjoyed family gatherings, especially when food was involved. 

In addition to his parents, Terry was preceded in death by two brothers, James H. “Jimmy” Adams and Billy Adams.

Terry is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Tara and Jason Threadgill; four grandchildren, Tiffany (Shaylon) Chappell, Dakota Brown, Sierra (Tyler) Douglas, and Nicholas “Nic” Threadgill; three sisters, Stacy Whitfield, Joanie (David) Hill, and Tommie (Chris) Grimes; two brothers, Jack Couch and Joe Adams.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.

In keeping with his wishes, Terry will be cremated, and a Gathering of Friends will be held on Sunday, February 18, 2024, at Access Church, 1905 Calhoun Road, Rome, GA, from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m.
