Tim Gober

Mr. Timothy H. Gober, age 80, of Carrollton, GA, a former resident of Rockmart, GA, passed away Monday, September 19, 2022.

Mr. Gober was born in Rockmart on August 19, 1942, son of the late Ira William Gober and Clara Martin Gober. He had lived in Rockmart for most of his life prior to moving to Carrollton in 1983. Mr. Gober attended West Georgia College and retired from Georgia Power in 2005. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed collecting, especially coins.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Gober was preceded in death by two sisters, Mrs. Ginger Wright, and Mrs. Shirley King and a brother, Mr. Jon Gober.

Mr. Gober is survived by three children, Jill Gober of Panama City, FL, Jennifer Gober of Rome, GA, and Dr. Daniel Gober (Hanna) of Rome, GA; one sister, Jan Julian (David) of Marietta and one brother, Lanny Gober (Judy) of Rockmart; four grandchildren, Joshua Terry, Courtney Moss, Cavin Gober, and Skylar Rogers; one great-granddaughter, Blakeley Moss. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside services for Mr. Gober will be Saturday morning, September 24, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. in Rose Hill Cemetery with Steve Miller officiating.
