Timothy Allen "Tim" Locklear

Mr. Timothy Allen “Tim” Locklear, age 67, of Rockmart, GA passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2025.

Tim was born in Rockmart on April 11, 1957, a son of the late Jesse Ray Locklear and Elender Mae Bowman Locklear. Tim lived the greater part of his life in the Yorkville community. He was an avid University of Georgia fan and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and had a great love for them.

In addition to his parents, Tim was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Jones, brother, Dennis Locklear; and grandson, Cade Maulding.

Tim is survived by his two daughters, Lyric Locklear and Brittany Locklear; grandchildren, Levi Head, Jesse Lindsey, Ansley Summerville, Allison Summerville, Aerial Summerville, Derrick Moore, Brayden Maulding, Jaxon Maulding, and Caden Maulding; brothers, Edward Locklear, Larry Locklear, Silas Locklear, and Travis Locklear; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

In keeping with his wishes, Mr. Locklear will be cremated, and memorial services will be held at a later date.
