Timothy Victor Joseph January

Mr. Timothy Victor Joseph January, age 69, of Marietta, GA and formerly of Rockmart passed away Saturday, December 7, 2019 in Marietta.

He was born in Rome, GA on February 2, 1950 a son of the late Allie January and the late Bessie Jones January. Tim had lived the greater part of his life in Rockmart before moving to Cobb County five years ago. He was a member of the Church of Christ and had been employed in the Pest Control Industry.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Edwina Wood January on May 29, 2000.

Survivors include his daughter, Samantha Hodges and her husband Raymond, Carrollton; two sisters: Syble Eckert, Rockmart and Ann Banther, Chattanooga; brother, Robert (Buddy) Autry, Fairmount; three grandchildren; five great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 12, 2019 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Minister Justin Mason officiating. Interment will follow in the Northview Cemetery, Cedartown.

Pallbearers will include Raymond Hodges, Justin Hodges, Raymond T. Hodges and Blane Hancock.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 12 noon until the funeral hour.
