Tyler Clay Jackson

Mr. Tyler Clay Jackson, age 19, of 905 Forest Avenue, Rockmart passed away Friday, May 16, 2008.

Tyler was born in Rome, GA on February 28, 1989 a son of Diane Moody Jackson and the late Clyde Wayne Jackson, Sr. He had lived all of his life in Rockmart where he had attended Rockmart High School and Coosa Valley Technical College. He was formerly employed with McDonalds and the Frontier Restaurant.

Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Diane Jackson; sister, Tonia Jackson; brothers: Junior Jackson, Jesse Jackson, Kevin Jackson and Adam Jackson all of Rockmart; grandmother, Mrs. Mattie Jackson, Aragon; a number of aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.

Funeral services will be held Monday, May 19th at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Dr. Tony Weaver officiating. Interment will follow in the New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will include: Dustin Ferguson, Sloan Ferguson, Chris Campbell, Matt Campbell, Cody Jackson and Travis Jackson.

The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
