Vance Angle

Mr. Vance C. Angle, Jr., age 79, of Aragon, GA passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2020.

Mr. Angle was born in Rome, GA on June 16, 1941, a son of the late Vance Carlton Angle, Sr. and the late Mary Guinette Cofer Angle. Vance spent his childhood years in Floyd County before moving to Polk County where he made his home for over forty years. He was part of the first graduating class of East Rome High School Class of 1959. After high school he went on to attend Reinhardt College. Vance was a former Boy Scout Leader, was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church, and was retired from insurance sales. He was a veteran of the United States Army Reserve.

Mr. Angle is survived by his wife of almost fifty four years, Judy Clark Angle, Aragon, to whom he was married on February 11, 1967; children: Vance C. Angle, III and his wife, DeAnna, Acworth, Gregory Angle, Rome, and Christopher Angle and his wife, Tabitha, Rome; grandchildren: Nick, Logan, Evan, Cayson, and Cooper Angle; and two great-grandchildren: Easton and Blaire Angle.

In keeping with his wishes, Mr. Angle will be cremated and the family will have a private graveside memorial service.
