Walter David Hert, Sr.

Mr. Walter David Hert, Sr, age 82, of Temple, GA, passed away Tuesday morning, December 31, 2024.

Mr. Hert was born in Poplar Bluff, MO, on December 29, 1942. He had worked as a dozier operator and was also a maintenance technician with W.R. Grace Chemicals. Mr. Hert loved fishing, woodworking and making wine.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Hert was preceded in death by three brothers, Ben Hert, Gene Hert, and J.R. Hert.

Mr. Hert is survived by three children, Walter David Hert, Jr., William Andrew Hert, and Tammy Marie Hert. Several grandchildren also survive.

In keeping with his wishes, Mr. Hert will be cremated, and no formal services are planned at this time.
