Wanda Darlene Pruitt

Mrs. Wanda Darlene Pruitt, age 63, of Rockmart, GA, passed away Wednesday evening, September 4, 2024.

Darlene was born on March 29, 1961, a daughter of the late Fred King and Lula Belle Reed Stegall. She was a housewife and homemaker and was of the Christian faith. Darlene loved flowers, birds, windchimes, all things Christmas and snow. She was very family oriented and cherished her time with family.

In addition to her parents, Darlene was preceded in death by a son, Jason Sullivan, and a brother, Steve King.

Darlene is survived by her husband, Richard Dewayne “Joe” Pruitt, whom she married in 1980; son Richard Thomas “Rick” Pruitt; sisters, Sandra (Eddie) Stegall, Rebecca (Randy) Henry, and Janet (Mike) Graham. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside and interment services for Darlene will be held Saturday, September 7, 2024, at 11:30 a.m. in Polk Memory Gardens.
