Wendell Culver

Mr. Wendell Culver, age 78, of Rockmart, GA, passed away Saturday, September 2, 2023.

Wendell was born in Rome, GA, on September 27, 1944, son of the late B.C. Culver and Tennie Florence Holland Culver. He had lived all his life in Rockmart, went to school in Aragon and loved singing. He was a member and honorary deacon of Full Gospel Church of New Beginnings.  Wendell was known throughout the community as he was always visiting local businesses on his bicycle and fellowshipping with friends and family. He never met a stranger.

In addition to his parents, Wendell was preceded in death by Aunt Earline and Uncle Frank Statham, and Uncles, Harvey and Robert Culver.

Wendell is survived by his sister, Kathryn Culver of Dublin, GA. A number of cousins and other family members also survive.

Funeral services for Wendell will be Wednesday evening September 6, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Patnode and Rev. Chris Hightower officiating.

Wendell’s family will receive friends at Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until the funeral hour.
