William A. (Freddy) Miller

Mr. William Alfred (Freddy) Miller, Jr., age 73, of Rockmart, GA passed away Sunday, December 22, 2019 in a Rome medical center.

Freddy was born on September 5, 1946 in Rome, GA a son of the late William Alfred Miller, Sr. and the later Edna Coalson Miller. He had lived all of his life in Rockmart and worked as a pipefitter for Plumbers, Pipefitters and HVACR Technicians Local Union 72 of Atlanta, GA. Freddy was a graduate of Rockmart High School and a graduate of Coosa Valley Technical School. He enjoyed his animals, collecting classic cars and carpentry.

Survivors include a daughter, Terra Turner; son, Terry Miller; companion, Rebecca Ann Miller all of Rockmart; sister, Carol Gramling and her husband Benton, McDonough and a brother, Tommy Miller and wife Mary Lee, Rockmart.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, December 28, 2019 at 5:00 pm in the chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Franky McCarley officiating and eulogies delivered by family and friends.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 4:00 pm until the service hour at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial gifts be made in Freddys’ memory to Polk County Animal Control, 1215 Veal Street Cedartown, GA 30125.
